COMMUNITY
South of Cordoba, Colombia
This sustainable agro-industrial project is being built by a community of producers located in the south of Córdoba, an area historically affected by the violence generated by drug trafficking.
In total, 92 peasant families, most of whom are engaged in agricultural and livestock activities on their land, are involved in the planting, transformation and marketing processes of Sacha Inchi. They are mostly people between 40 and 65 years old.
The south of Córdoba includes the municipalities of Montelíbano, San José de Uré and Puerto Libertador (Colombia).
