The chontaduro is one of the most complete tropical fruits for its nutritional value, it contains 7 of the 8 essential amino acids, carotenes, vitamins A, C, E, B and K, fiber, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc.

By-products with high nutritional value are obtained from this product, such as chontaduro flour.

Chontaduro flour is an excellent substitute for egg lecithin as it allows the homogeneous mixture of ingredients, providing nutritional values.



We are developing this project together with the Farmers Association of San José del Palmar, Chocó
